I’m Chris.
I’m the photographer behind Reid Studios. I’ve been photographing weddings, portraits and headshots in Melbourne since 2000, from a studio on Reid Street in Fitzroy North.
Weddings
Coverage is up to four hours, and you choose how to use them. Some couples want the whole day in short form: preparation, ceremony, family groups, portraits and the start of the reception. Others want just the ceremony and portraits on location. We’ll plan the hours around what matters to you. I’m based in the city and happy to travel to the country or the coast.
How I work
My style is relaxed. I direct when it helps, with posed groups and portraits, and otherwise stay out of the way. For couples who want something more styled, I’m glad to plan a set or a look with you beforehand.
What you receive
I check every image myself for colour balance and take out closed eyes and duplicates. Everything is delivered by digital download, with a USB copy available on request.
